Smarter Vending: Secrets and Strategies of a Vending Pro

How Did I Learn All This Information?

Simply put, I learned everything I know through “trial by fire”. A few years ago I started my vending business with less than $200. I bought a two-headed bulk candy machine, filled it with four five-pound bags of product, and placed it in a local real estate office. Through what must have been beginner’s luck that machine made solid income, which I quickly parlayed into a handful of machines.

However, placing some of those first machines was darn near impossible, and I knew there had to be a better way. After much searching, I found that the better way was to buy existing routes. Though I made some minor mistakes with my new strategy, I did manage to nail down the steps it took to make quicker and easier profits in vending than I had previously thought possible.

Within months, my route was 42 machines strong, all of which produced at high levels. Then by either selling or relocating under performing machines, I created a truly great vending route. It was the perfect size for the time I had to spend on it, and made great money.

Those 42 machines were the way in which I chose to leverage my time. They were like little employees except they didn’t call in sick, request benefits, or even get paid. All they did was make me money while I was off doing other things.

Think about it this way: I had 42 machines each working 168 hour weeks. If you think “hard work” is putting in 40 hour weeks, you’re kidding yourself! At that rate my vending route allowed me to work 7,056 per week! On top of clocking exponentially more hours, I was taxed less than if I was working a traditional job, meaning I took home more money at the end of the day.

Once I had built a solid base of capital to venture into other businesses, my vending income just became icing on the cake. Soon though, my new projects consumed my time, so I decided to exit the vending business that got me started in first place. I ended up selling my route in pieces, utilizing various methods I’d learned and adapted from real estate investing.

By selling to others looking to better their financial situation, I created win/win situations. They made money from my established route using OPM (Other People’s Money) and I made money using OPT (Other People’s Time). We both got what we wanted, and all parties were satisfied.

But I didn’t stop there. I figured if the people I’d helped along the way get into vending loved my ideas and appreciated the knowledge I shared with them, why wouldn’t the rest of the world? In response, I created Smarter Vending, which you have the opportunity to get your hands on now.
